But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Introduction:<\/p>\n
Delays are often more than mere timing issues; they can be spiritual. There is a spirit responsible for blocking, slowing, or diverting blessings meant for Yah\u2019s people. It keeps people stagnant despite their efforts, prayers, and obedience. Today, we expose and confront that spirit in the name of Yahshua.<\/p>\n
I. Understanding the Spirit of Delay<\/p>\n
Delay Is Not Denial\u2014But Can Become Destructive If Prolonged<\/p>\n
Proverbs 13:12 \u2014 \u201cHope deferred makes the heart sick\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Yahweh \u2019s promises are often delayed due to battles in the spirit realm.<\/p>\n
Satan Uses Delay to Discourage and Weaken Faith<\/p>\n
Daniel 10:12-13 \u2014 Daniel\u2019s answer was delayed by demonic resistance.<\/p>\n
Behind physical delays, there can be spiritual manipulation.<\/p>\n
Types of Delay:<\/p>\n
Personal delay: Marriage, childbearing, financial breakthrough.<\/p>\n
Ministerial delay: Growth, impact, fulfillment of calling.<\/p>\n
Prophetic delay: Promises spoken by God but not yet fulfilled.<\/p>\n
II. Causes of Spiritual Delays<\/p>\n
Demonic Hindrances<\/p>\n
Principalities and powers like the Prince of Persia (Daniel 10).<\/p>\n
1 Thessalonians 2:18 \u2014 Paul said, \u201cSatan hindered us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Disobedience and Sin<\/p>\n
Isaiah 59:1-2 \u2014 Sin creates a barrier between Yahweh and man.<\/p>\n
Jonah delayed Nineveh\u2019s salvation through disobedience.<\/p>\n
Ignorance and Passive Christianity<\/p>\n
Hosea 4:6 \u2014 \u201cMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n
If you don’t fight delay, you will live with it.<\/p>\n
Wrong Associations<\/p>\n
Jonah on the ship caused delay for everyone on board (Jonah 1:5-15).<\/p>\n
III. Keys to Breaking the Spirit of Delay<\/p>\n
Engage in Fasting and Prayer<\/p>\n
Matthew 17:21 \u2014 \u201cThis kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.\u201d<\/p>\n
Daniel fasted 21 days and overcame the delay.<\/p>\n
Issue Prophetic Decrees<\/p>\n
Job 22:28 \u2014 \u201cYou shall decree a thing and it shall be established\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Speak against delay in your life with authority.<\/p>\n
Engage Angelic Help Through Warfare<\/p>\n
Hebrews 1:14 \u2014 Angels are ministering spirits for believers.<\/p>\n
Pray for angelic intervention to fight territorial spirits.<\/p>\n
Live in Righteousness and Obedience<\/p>\n
Psalm 84:11 \u2014 \u201cNo good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.\u201d<\/p>\n
Righteous living clears the way for answered prayers.<\/p>\n
Persistence in Faith<\/p>\n
Luke 18:1 \u2014 \u201cMen ought always to pray, and not to faint.\u201d<\/p>\n
Keep praying until something happens (P.U.S.H).<\/p>\n
Conclusion:<\/p>\n
Delay is not Yahweh\u2019s plan for your life. You must rise up in prayer and faith to confront every spirit assigned to hold back your promotion, marriage, breakthrough, or purpose. What Yahweh has declared over you must manifest, and today is your day of liberty.<\/p>\n

Every spirit of delay assigned against my destiny, be destroyed by fire in Yashua s\u2019 name.<\/p>\n

O Yahweh, send angelic help to break through every demonic resistance in my life.<\/p>\n
By the blood of Yahshua, I cancel every evil covenant of delay working against me.<\/p>\n
I command divine speed and acceleration over every area of my life in Yahshua \u2019 name.<\/p>\n
